Two Suspects Arrested For Attacking Kuwaiti In Pattaya

Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been coordinating with the Embassy of Kuwait in Thailand for information on the latest developments in the investigations concerning the attack on a 33-yearold Kuwaiti citizen two days ago.

The victim was with his friend at a beach in Pattaya when he was attacked by two men and had sustained serious injuries. Pattaya’s Tourist Police Chief Lieutenant General Chettha Komolwatthana revealed that two suspects of ages 33 and 39 have been arrested. According to Thai media, the suspects confessed to attacking the Kuwaiti citizen and running away but denied that they stole from him.

However, the police authorities said the aim of the attack was theft, explaining that the suspects were heavily intoxicated and had seriously injured a person at the beach
