Two Expats Were Arrested For Impersonating Police

Two expatriates — a Lebanese and a Syrian — were arrested for impersonating police, possessing a sachet of drugs and a police flasher, and stealing a motorbike, reports Al-Anba daily. According to security sources, securitymen were patrolling Rawda area when they noticed two individuals trying to drag a motorbike which had stopped running. When they approached the two men to help, the latter took to their heels. Securitymen chased them based on suspicions and eventually caught them, finding a sachet of drugs and a police flasher on them. The two suspects admitted to stealing the motorbike by impersonating police. Victims of robberies by police impersonators in cases filed against unknown suspects will be summoned to identify the thieves in police lineup.
