Turkish Airlines Hosts Ramadan Ghabkah

17 June 2017 International

Turkish Airlines, Europe’s best airline for the fifth year in a row, hosted a Ramadan Ghabkah in honour of its media journalists, travel agents and corporates in Kuwait, who supported them in recent years.

The celebratory evening, which held at the Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa, Kuwait, was attended by the Turkish Ambassador to Kuwait H.E. Murad Tamer, the Ukrainian Ambassador, the Korean Ambassador and a group of dignitaries as well as local media, travel agents, and corporates. They were treated to an evening of Turkish hospitality by senior representatives of Turkish Airlines.

Sami Aydogan, General Manager, Turkish Airlines, Kuwait, said: “We are delighted to host such a gathering for all our distinguished guests who have supported us over the years. Travel agents and corporate partnerships have been crucial to achieving our growth-based goals and we hope to continue our relationship. Kuwait is increasingly becoming an important destination for Turkish Airlines as in this summer we will operate more than 50 weekly flights.”

Kuwait is one of the centres of commerce and tourism within the GCC, and an excellent market of opportunity in terms of expansion for Turkish Airlines. In its push for global connectivity, the airline has added several new flights to and from Kuwait, which now include destinations such as Croatia, France, Colombia and Panama. Turkish Airlines also has direct flights from Kuwait to Trabzon, Bodrum, Izmir and Antalya in Turkey.
