Trial For Fraudster In Health Office Of Embassy Of Kuwait Begins

In a case that was filed in 2014, a federal court in Washington D.C. in the USA has finally begun the trial sessions of a naturalized American citizen after Egypt extradited him to the United States on December 14. The fugitive, who escaped law for a period of seven years, will face charges related to fraud crime against the health office of the Embassy of Kuwait in the US capital, reports Al-Rai daily.

According to the case file received by the court during the first appearance of the accused, he is an American citizen, identified as “A.K.” is 62 years of age, and of Egyptian- Sudanese origin. He was handed over to the United States by the relevant Egyptian authorities at the request of the US. The accused had allegedly cooperated with other conspirators earlier than 2014 to carry out a scheme through which they defrauded the Health Office of the Embassy of Kuwait in Washington, specifically in connection with arrangements to pay for the treatment services of Kuwaiti nationals who traveled to the US for medical care.
