Travelers In Kuwait Can Skip Fingerprinting On Departure

29 May 2023 Travel

In accordance with the Ministry of Interior, travelers are now exempt from taking fingerprints while leaving Kuwait as long as they complete the procedure upon their return. This measure aims to facilitate the travel process for individuals.

A statement from the ministry says there are three centers that operate 24 hours a day in Al-Jahra, Ali Sabah Al-Salem, and West Mishref, as well as a fingerprint station in Farwaniya Governorate, which is open between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.

Citizens need to schedule appointments through the Matta platform in order to complete fingerprinting procedures, while visitors need to schedule appointments through the ministry's website.
