Travel Bans Imposed On Suspects, Including Senior Officials Of The Interior Ministry

In a case of money laundering and bribery, the Criminal Court banned the travel of a senior official from the Ministry of Interior, the secretary of former representatives, and a doctor. Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, discovered the case and referred it to the Public Prosecution.

Following the suspects' testimonies, the court set Jan 27, 2024, as the date for the case to be heard.

Three former expatriate secretariats have been charged with receiving bribes by the Public Prosecution, according to Al-Qabas.

According to the source, "investigations indicated that the accused completed each transaction for 2,000 dinars."
