Travel Ban Imposed On An American Man For Trafficking Drugs

The sentences renewal judge imposed travel ban on an American man and ordered his release on KD 500 bail.

The American was accused of trafficking in drugs after 4kg parcel of the contraband was seized from his home. He denied the charges and said a compatriot working at Camp Arifjan had asked him to keep the parcel until his return from leave, and he was unaware of its content. Defense lawyer Dalal Al-Mulla said her client has been residing in Kuwait for 7 years and never been convicted in any case, while blood sample showed no traces of illicit drugs.
