Three Indians Arrested For Running The Factory In Nugra Area

Security operatives from Hawalli Command raided a local liquor factory in Nugra area and arrested three Indians – born in 1976, 1981 and 1984 respectively for running the factory, says Al-Seyassah. The officers seized 27 drums full of liquor and equipment used in manufacturing the contraband.

A security source said Hawalli Security Chief Abideen Al-Abideen received an intelligence concerning the illegitimate activities of a trio of liquor manufacturers converting their apartment into a factory, and team of detectives was assigned to ascertain authenticity of the information. Guarded by search and arrest warrant from the Public Prosecution, the officers raided the apartment at an appropriate time and took all three suspects into custody. They admitted the offense during investigation, saying they manufactured and distributed the contraband to their customers. They have since been referred to the concerned authority for legal action.
