Three Expats Were Injured In A House Fire In Andalus And A Building In Farwaniya

Expatriates suffered from suffocation and heat exhaustion as a result of two fire accidents that broke out yesterday in 4 vehicles inside a house in Andalus area, and the basement of a building in Farwaniya. The two accidents also resulted in material losses to the two sites. In the details of the first incident, the Director of the Public Relations and Media Department of the General Fire Force, Colonel Muhammad Al-Gharib, said that the General Fire Force’s operations room received a report yesterday evening that a fire had broken out in the basement of a building in Farwaniya, indicating that as soon as the report was received, the Farwaniya and Jleeb fire stations were moved. elders to the site of the accident. Al-Gharib added that the firefighters, upon their arrival, found out that the fire broke out in the basement of the building, which uses a carpentry and a furniture store, pointing out that they worked to evacuate the residents of the building due to the rising smoke columns, and then proceeded to fight the fire

He stated that the investigation control officers in the fire incidents moved to the Al-Balagh site to inspect and investigate the causes of the fire, noting that the firefighters at the site summoned the prevention sector officer to take the necessary action regarding the violations observed at the site.

For his part, the medical emergency site officer, Fahad Al-Enezi, said that 5 ambulances were present at the scene of the accident, and 3 cases of suffocation and heat stress were dealt with for expatriates from the building’s residents, and they were treated at the accident site by emergency medical technicians.


In the details of the other accident, Al-Gharib said that the operations room of the General Fire Brigade received a report that a fire broke out in 4 parked vehicles in the garage of the house in the Andalus region yesterday evening, indicating that upon receiving the report, the Sulaibikhat and Al-Ardiya craftsman stations were moved to the site.
