Three Expat Beggars Have Been Arrested

In response to reports received on previously announced phone numbers for reporting cases of begging, the General Administration of Residence Affairs Investigation has taken action. Three expats of various nationalities were arrested on charges of begging, and legal proceedings are being initiated against them.

Citizens' cooperation and initiative in reporting incidents of begging was appreciated by the Ministry of the Interior, exemplifying the adage, "every citizen is a sentinel."

Anyone observing begging should call the following numbers immediately: 97288211, 97288200, 25582581, 25582582, or the emergency number (112), which operates 24 hours a day.
