The Umrah Will Be Performed In Saudi Arabia By 3,500 People In Three Days

The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah's decision to relax the precautionary measures for Umrah has rekindled interest in booking tickets to the Holy Land on national and Gulf carriers.

After the decision to cancel the registration of immunization data for those seeking an Umrah permit from outside the Kingdom, as well as the mandatory PCR test certificate, institutional and home quarantine, and the cancellation of checking immunization status while traveling, informed sources in the tourism and travel sector told a local Arabic daily.

According to the sources, these measures helped to double the number of passengers and aircraft departing from both Jeddah and Madinah, indicating that there is a 30 percent increase in demand for Umrah destinations compared to previous periods.

According to the sources, ticket rates are affordable for all, ranging between 120 and 150 dinars for a round-trip to Jeddah and Madinah.

According to the reports, 31 flights have left Kuwait International Airport in the last two days, including 25 to Jeddah and 6 to Madinah.
