The Rate Of Addiction Over The Past 3 Years Has Increased By 25 Percent

Chairman of the Kuwait Pharmaceutical Association (KUPHA), Dr Hani Zakaria was quoted as saying the rate of addiction over the past three years has increased by 25 percent, although no accurate statistics to monitor the rate of addiction in Kuwait are available, reports Al-Seyassah daily. Dr Zakaria said Kuwait will next month launch the awareness campaigns to fight addiction and abuse of narcotic drugs. He added, this is a five year project.
