The New Driving Test Mechanism Is Coming Soon

The Assistant Director-General of the General Directorate of Traffic for Education Affairs, Brigadier Sheikh Fawaz Al-Khaled, stated that the test departments in the six governorates are currently witnessing a radical development and change process in line with the new testing mechanism that will be implemented very soon in both the theoretical and practical test, which will fit with the variables of the public road, and what the country is witnessing From the construction of new roads, tunnels and bridges in various governorates, local News paper Aljarida Reported.

This came on the sidelines of the inauguration of the Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Traffic and Operations Affairs, Major General Jamal Al Sayegh, the new test section in the Capital Governorate, in the presence of the Assistant Director-General of the Traffic Department for Planning and Research Affairs, Brigadier Khaled Mahmoud, the Assistant Director-General of Traffic for Licensing Affairs, Brigadier Yousef Al-Khadda, and the Assistant Director General of the General Directorate of Traffic for Technical Affairs, Brigadier General Muhammad Al-Adwani.

Al-Khaled told Al-Jarida that Major General Al-Sayegh met with the training sector on more than one occasion, and asked them to develop the theoretical and practical test mechanism, and to focus on the guiding panels in the testing process, because it is the first line of safety for the driver if he realizes the meaning of the guiding panel.

He added that the test departments are witnessing a field development process for the practical test section, and a few days ago, the Ahmadi Governorate Test Section was opened after it was developed to suit the new test mechanism, pointing out that the next few days will also witness the opening of the Test Section of the Governorate of Hawalli and Mubarak Al-Kabeer, which will witness a transformation A quality test for citizens, where they can receive the driver’s license after success directly from the test department itself, with the aim of relieving traffic departments in the governorates.

Al-Khaled explained that there is a conception of the practical test mechanism, so that it will consist of 10 stages that the test goes through, starting from the process of controlling the driving of the vehicle through some important guiding panels that must abide by, which reflects the driver’s attention and awareness

With regard to the theoretical test, he indicated that it will include educational questions related to traffic law and some obvious things that the driver must know, explaining that if the tester does not answer these questions, he is considered a failure immediately, because they are questions that are considered among the ABCs of driving vehicles.
