The Municipality Closes 16 Stores In Jahra, Which Violated The Precautionary Measures Last July

The Kuwait Municipality announced the closure of 16 shops in Jahra Governorate during the month of July, for violating the precautionary measures to avoid the spread of the new Corona virus (Covid-19).

The director of the Jahra Governorate branch, Thamer Al-Mutairi, said in a press release, that the control teams issued 26 miscellaneous violations and issued 3881 warnings and warnings to commercial stores, including restaurants, grocery stores, and central markets, to abide by the decision of the Council of Ministers and the Ministry of Health.

Al-Mutairi added that these monitoring tours come within the framework of the efforts made by the municipality to confront the repercussions of Corona, based on the decisions of the Council of Ministers and the decisions of the Ministry of Health, as part of the precautionary and preventive measures taken by the municipality to avoid the spread of the virus.

He pointed out that the municipality issued 17 terminations and supervision, as well as directing 17 books to the Ministry of Electricity and Water to deliver electricity to 21 properties, in addition to issuing 22 descriptions certificates and stopping 3 construction works.

He indicated that the inspectors of the supervisory team at the General Cleaning and Road Works Department follow up the work of the companies contracting with the municipality to ensure the level of cleanliness in the governorate, pointing to the sweeping of 2,197 areas automatically, as well as washing and sterilizing 8,2416 containers of various sizes and mobile baskets.
