The Ministry Approves Payment Of 40 Million Dinars As End-of-service Benefits

The Ministry of Education's finance department has approved 40 million dinars in end-of-service benefits for 338 employees who are required to retire in 2020-2021, the majority of whom are educators.

The ministry has begun disbursing the money to those who have completed the retirement processes, according to Al-Rai, citing education sources. "There will be no delay in disbursing this money," the ministry stated.

Meanwhile, sources refuted that the Ministry of Education had set aside 400,000 dinars for the annual national operetta hosted at Bayan Palace on the occasion of National and Liberation Days, claiming that the performance will not be held for the third year in a straight owing to the financial crisis' ramifications.
