Moh Inaugurates The Sabah Al-ahmad Centers

The Minister of Health, Dr. Basil Al-Sabah, inaugurated the health centers (D and E) in Sabah Al-Ahmad Residential City, in the presence of the Director of the Ahmadi Health District, Dr. Ahmed Al-Shatti, the Head of Primary Care, Dr. Fahad Al-Azmi, and the Head of the Sabah Al-Ahmad Centers, Dr. Aseel Al-Sabri.

Dr. Aseel Al-Sabri said: The Specialized Center (D) is a worship of a miniature hospital, as it contains outpatient clinics for 14 medical specialties with secondary health care, and includes the school oral and dental health program, which includes clinics for children’s dental treatment and a school health department and includes examination clinics Medical school for schools, institutes, universities, vaccination, internal medicine and endocrine clinics, general surgery clinic, orthopedic clinic, urology clinic, pediatric clinic, dermatology clinic, gynecology and obstetrics clinics, sonography, fetal planning, otolaryngology clinic, hearing clinic, physiotherapy department, ophthalmology clinic under preparation, laboratory for medical examinations and radiology department Diagnostic and intravenous department and pharmacy.

Al-Sabri explained that the center will receive its auditors by taking appointments by transferring from the primary care centers located in all sectors of Sabah Al-Ahmad residential and agricultural city, Al-Wafra residential and agricultural city, Sabah Al-Ahmad Sea City, Khairan and Bendar, and appointment booking is applied with the prior reservation system only.

They pointed to the opening of the Sabah Al-Ahmad (E) Primary Health Care Center, which includes public clinics, non-communicable chronic diseases clinics, a laboratory, a pharmacy, and nursing, and that the center provides health services to the third, fourth and fifth sectors in Sabah Al-Ahmad residential city, where it operates from Sunday to Thursday from 8 am to 2 pm At noon.

They added that Sabah Al-Ahmad Residential City is unique with exceptional medical services different from all regions of the State of Kuwait by containing two primary care centers: Sabah Al-Ahmad Health Center for Primary Care A, which operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and Sabah Al-Ahmad Health Center for Primary Care E, which is currently inaugurated in addition to The Sabah Al-Ahmad Emergency Center, which is considered a miniature emergency hospital in Sector B, operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to provide treatment and medical services for critical, emergency and accident cases, as it is the only center in the southern region of the country that provides such services.

Al-Sabri added that the center works with an integrated medical cadre of doctors of surgery, abdominal, pediatrics, orthopedics, emergency medicine and anesthesia. It also includes an observation suite for women, children and men, a room for minor operations and a room for intensive care. And an air ambulance center.

In the end, the doctor indicated that the Sabah Al-Ahmad residential city is the only one that contains such integrated health services, as the Ministry of Health has equipped these centers with the latest medical devices and equipment, to provide all health services in the city in various medical departments, which makes the Ministry of Health the forerunner in providing services than the rest Governmental services in Sabah Al-Ahmad residential city.
