The Longest Table In The Country Breaks Fast For 11 Thousand People

Under the auspices of the Voluntary Work Department of the Public Authority for Youth, the "Amir of Humanity Volunteer" team prepared the longest fasting breakfast table in Kuwait at the Friday market, with the involvement of various parties and supporters.

"The event was organized for the third year, as it started in 2018 in Souk Al-Mubarakiya, where about 6,000 fasting people participated, and in 2019 it was organized at the Friday Market, and contributed to the preparation of Iftar for 9 thousand fasting people," Ali Karam, the team's founder and leader, said in a statement to a local Arabic daily.

"It was arranged on Friday after a two-year absence due to the closure, and 11,200 fasting individuals broke their Ramadan fast, and many volunteer teams participated in the preparation," Karam said.

"Many restaurants and charities, led by the Kuwaiti Food Bank, also participated in the event, proving the solidarity and collaboration of everyone in charitable work," said the team's creator and leader.
