The Innocence Of Those Accused Of Killing An Officer Cadet Due To Cruelty In Military Exercises

The misdemeanor court acquitted an officer and a student officer at the Ali Al-Sabah Military College of the charge of using cruelty in military exercises and causing the killing of their fellow officer student.

The two defendants had been referred by the Ministry of Defense, as the incident sparked widespread controversy, after the death of the student officer, under the suspicion of using cruelty during the college exercises.

The defense of one of the defendants (an officer student), lawyer Hussein Al-Asfour, said that we are confident of the innocence of our client and we have presented compelling evidence that there is no indictment of murder, and we confirmed that the papers are free of any evidence, especially since the medical reports and committees confirmed that death is natural and that the crime is not committed against the accused.
