The First Remote Electronic Service Is Launched By Al-zaid

14 April 2022 Kuwait

Nader Al-Zaid, Director of the Capital Implementation Department, announced the launch of electronic services, the first of their kind, which will be implemented remotely via the Ministry of Justice's electronic portal, with the goal of simplifying procedures and easing the burden on visitors and stakeholders who have obtained civil judgments.

Starting on Sunday, April 17, the litigants will be able to collect debtors' money from their bank accounts, seize their vehicles, and impose a travel ban on them, according to Al-Zaid.

He noted that these three services will be provided electronically during the project's first phase, and the department was eager to launch them without waiting for the rest of the work, which is part of the management plan for this integrated digital project, to be completed.

Al-Zaid explained that the service development project was launched to keep up with the development of information technology and modern digital systems, a project that took more than five years of effort, planning, and preparation, but was motivated by the idea of a complete digital transformation of government services and procedures as a strategic priority, as well as the recent circumstances represented by the Corona repercussions.

In addition to the recent modifications in legislation addressing implementation procedures and electronic advertising, this procedural pattern is a strategic choice, and the application was submitted today.

This program, according to Al-Zaid, has an operational link and overlaps with the Ministry of Interior, systems, local banks, and the Public Authority for Civil Information, and these services will be provided to all sectors of society.

Al-Zaid hopes that the new services will help to achieve the desired outcomes, as well as contribute to the upgrading and development of work methods and tools in line with the modern philosophy of providing procedures as service products subject to quality and efficiency standards, in order to increase beneficiary satisfaction and acceptance.

"We have addressed 17 entities and so far the majority of them have not responded to our correspondence," he added. The Electronic Advertising Law 2022 requires state agencies to document their e-mails, and "we have addressed 17 entities and so far the majority of them have not responded to our correspondence."

2 – Save time and effort while staying on top of digital developments.

3 – Termination of the documentary cycle and the abolition of routine

4 – Traffic reduction and time and effort savings
