The Deadline To Request Encash Balance Leave Is June 16
Eng. Ahmed Al-Saleh, the Director of the Information Systems Center and the Ministry of Public Works' official spokesman, said that approximately 900 employees from various sectors have applied to cash their annual leaves in accordance with the Civil Service Commission Resolution No. (2) of 2022, which was issued on 4/10/2022.
According to a local Arabic newspaper, Al-Saleh stated in a press statement that the ministry began getting petitions after the CSC decided to enable employees to encash their outstanding leave if they met specific requirements.
In this case, according to Al-Saleh, the Civil Service Bureau's requirements are implemented, which defined in the application many conditions to profit from the remainder of his vacation.
Meanwhile, according to another local daily, Badr Al-Adwani, the Acting Assistant Undersecretary for the Financial and Administrative Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Social Affairs, the Department of Administrative Affairs in the Ministry has received more than 700 requests from employees to encash their balance leaves during service since the Service Council's decision until yesterday.
He noted that the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Affairs issued Administrative Circular No. (6/A) of 2022 regarding the mechanism for submitting requests for cash allowance in exchange for vacation balance, which is binding on Ministry employees who meet the conditions outlined in the CSC decision.
The deadline for filing petitions, according to Al-Adwani, is June 16.
