The Customs Seized 120 Thousand Bags Of Ban Tampak Inside A Rope Container

The customs men of the northern ports seized the “inspection and warehousing control” of the Shuwaikh Port, in the presence of the Director of the Customs of the Northern Ports, Mr. Saleh Al-Harbi and the Inspection and Depository Supervisor, Mr. Muhammad Al-Otaibi, a twenty-foot container after they suspected it. Approximately one hundred and twenty thousand bags of small size of the “best” brand coming from one of the Asian countries were hidden inside the container and placed on it bags of ropes at the front of the container to delude and mislead the customs inspector, but the inspector, with his experience and vigilance, thwarted this attempt, and this commodity is considered in violation of the laws and instructions Customs, according to the laws of the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Health.

th Ports Customs praised the efforts of the inspectors, their vigilance, and their eagerness to confront all customs smuggling attempts, and accordingly, the necessary measures were taken to prepare a record of seizure of the goods in preparation for their confiscation for transfer to the Central Destruction Committee.

The General Administration of Customs warns everyone who is begging for himself to smuggle prohibited goods of all kinds and forms into the country, stressing that he will expose himself to legal accountability and take customs measures against him.
