Telephone Lines Capacity At Jtc Has Reached 30 Thousand Lines

Assistant Director of Telephone Services in the Jahra Governorate and the representative of the Customer Services Sector in the Complaints and Inquiries Monitoring sector at the Ministry of State for Services Affairs, Musaed Al-Azmi, said the capacity of telephone lines at the Jahra Telecommunications Center (JTC) has reached 30 thousand lines, while the number of subscribers of these services is 16 thousand, reports Al-Qabas daily.

Al-Azmi told the daily the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Communications Engineer Khulood Al-Shehab has issued a decision on July 15, 2019, to form a working team to monitor the telephone complaints and said the complaints will be received directly or through the social networking sites and will be looked into as soon as possible and the same goes with the inquiries.

He went on to say, “we have seen through our previous meetings the cooperation of all members in order to limit the complaints, and answer all queries of citizens and address all problems.” He pointed out Jahra is one of the largest governorates and the Government Mall will house 12 government institutions to facilitate the services to citizens, especially since the Government Mall project is one of the most important e-government projects that is part of the development plan.

He added that the subscribers sector provides many services to citizens, including the installation of a telephone line, whether for homes or for commercial use, in addition to collecting annual subscriptions and other services. Al-Azmi revealed the areas which are served by the optic fiber cable Jaber Al-Ahmad, Saad Al- Abdullah, Al-Naseem, Plots 3 and 4, Amghara and even Al-Subbiya, Abdali, and Salmi, Al-Qasr, Al- Oyoun and Al-Naeem.
