Taking Some Time Away From Busy Life Is Good For Citizens, Residents; Some Prefer Tents; Others Prefer Kathtas
In the summer months, as the temperatures begin to fall, many Kuwaitis and expatriates take advantage of the camping season to enjoy the outdoors away from home and to relax with their families.
As much as the camps provide outlets and a place to have fun, many prefer the open desert areas (Kashta) for other reasons, such as the fact that it's easy to find any spot, the fact that it's less expensive, and the fact that it's temporary, fast, and does not require a particular locale, unlike permanent camps, meaning that you can move from one location to another and enjoy the springtime environment without any commitments.
During his tour of the Kashta, Al-Anba observed Kuwaitis and residents enjoying the gorgeous weather and surrounding areas in open areas. Those who prefer kashta say they enjoy spending time outdoors under the blue sky and then returning home.
"Kashta" was widely appreciated by many families. However, they say that despite the open areas they adhere to cleanliness and make sure the area is left in a clean condition so others can enjoy it as well. A permanent camp is very different from pitching a tent or a camp, which is much more costly than setting up a Kashta.
According to Muhammad Saud, I tried both the "kashta" and a camp, and both of them have advantages and disadvantages. You can choose whether to practice your kashta in the mountains, the open desert, or close to home. A kashta is not expensive, and you can move whenever you want. You can choose the place and change whenever you want. We have moved our kashtas to Sabhan, close to our homes, where we can shop and eat, and where our children can ride their bunches under the eye of their parents or guardians.
I have some recommendations for brothers who go on daily 'kashta', including cleaning the place often and not leaving behind garbage or leftover food around, but collecting them in bags to be brought to the closest garbage collection place in their car. According to Muhammad, the routine in the permanent camps has changed completely.
Muhammad Al-Enezi, however, stated that, "they were in Sabhan inside an open area and right beneath the high-pressure overhead power lines, so there was no way of knowing if it was harmful or harmless. In Kuwait, you can hike nine months of the year due to the hot weather. During the short period of winter and spring, we take advantage of it.
Al-Enezi said, "I like this place, and we have been coming here for years. There were many negative aspects earlier, but now I see a dramatic change: a large number of seedlings, which I cannot tell if they are from people or from a company. This change gave a spectacular view.".
According to Al-Enezi, the spring camps are more expensive than kashta because they are more expensive; this is why people prefer kashta because it is less expensive and one can move around carefree.
