Syrian Expat Was Arrested For Attempting To Smuggle 4 Kg Hashish

A Syrian expatriate was arrested for attempting to smuggle four kilograms of hashish into the country via Abdali border. According to sources, customs officers at Abdali border checkpoint were inspecting the heavy vehicles that had arrived from Iraq when they found four kilograms of hashish inside the heavy vehicle of a Syrian expatriate.

The latter was discovered to hold a residence permit of Kuwait and the heavy vehicle was licensed for transportation of food materials. The suspect was arrested and referred with the confiscated hashish to the Drugs Control General Department for necessary legal action
