Suspect Arrested Over Atm Thefts

A Syrian expatriate living in Kuwait was arrested in connection with a string a bank robberies
The man who is in his thirties made several attempts to steal money from Automated Teller Machines (ATM) in the neighbourhood of Al-Showeikh but he failed.
The police raided his house in the neighbourhood of Al-Nasim and confiscated the sharp tools he had used in his attempts to break the ATM machines and steal the money.
The police identified the suspects after viewing the CCTV footage which showed the 25-year-old Syrian expat as he was attempting to smash the ATM machines and steal the money.
The Interior Ministry said that the Syrian suspect is accused of attempting to steal money at night from three ATM machines.
