Strategic Security Plan To Prevent The Terrorists From Entering The Country
The State Security has put in place a close-knit strategic security plan to prevent the terrorists from entering the country following the liberation of Mosul from the DAESH stronghold, reports Al-Shahed daily.
The daily quoting knowledgeable security sources said the State Security has the database containing the names of a large number of terrorists from around the world.
The sources confirmed the State Security has been working for six years to compile this database which includes the names and movements of the DAESH members and other terrorist activities.
The State Security has intensified its presence at the air, land and sea ports with particular stress on arrivals. Instructions have also been given by the State Security to the concerned authorities to stop issuing visit or family visas without its prior approval.
The sources confirmed the security situation in the country is stable; thanks to the efforts exerted by the security authorities.
On the other hand, the Al-Anba daily said the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior Lieutenant General Mahmoud Al-Dosari has placed the entire Interior Ministry force on full alert until July 10, 2017.
According to the instructions issued by Al-Dosari strict security measures will be taken around all vital installations, especially the oil facilities and borders, fuel stations, embassies including airports. Instructions have also been given to shoot at any suspect if the person fails to comply with orders and/or refuses to heed warnings such as firing in the air.
Kuwaiti Interior Ministry on Sunday dismissed reports that it was taking extraordinary security measures to address external or terrorist threats. The Ministry said in a statement that precautionary plans and preventive measures are part of a security plan that has been launched since the holy month of Ramadan. The plan is subject to the supervision of Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah and all relevant security organs, ministry added.
