Stranded Teachers To Be Issued New Visas

The Ministry of Education is in favor of issuing new visas to teachers who were stranded and whose residencies have expired while they were abroad.

The sources stated that issuing new entry visas for teachers who are stuck outside the country is the best legal solution. New visas will be issued to specialized teachers who are needed by the Ministry of Education and they will  be informed accordingly of the procedures, report Al Anba. The Ministry of Education does not have access or authority to renew residence of teachers online after their visas expired while they were outside Kuwait.

There are teachers who are present in their countries and are under banned countries list. For renewal of Article 17 visas which have expired and are outside the country requires payment of renewal fees to the Ministry of Interior which is an obstacle, some exceptions are already approved by the Ministry of Interior.
