The government and related agencies are having an open conversation about some types of food that may harm residents' health.
According to Al-Anba, which cited sources, the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition has submitted recommendations to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry to prohibit the display of certain foodstuffs in food catering branches where subsidized supplies are distributed to citizens, particularly foodstuffs high in calories, which the PAFN considers unhealthy.
