Stalls Shut In Vegetable Market Raid

The Environment Police during a crackdown in Kabad and fruits and vegetables markets in Sulaibiya have shut down three stalls for operating without licence and issued citations for four cement mixers for discarding industrial waste on public roads, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

According to reliable sources, the main task of the Environment Police Department is to apply law in cooperation with other government agencies, spread awareness among citizens and expatriates to protect the environment. The campaign is organized upon instructions of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior Lieutenant-General Suleiman Al-Fahd in cooperation with the Environment Public Authority.
