Sri Lankan Strangles His Girlfriend To Death

A 24 yr old Sri Lankan expat strangled his Sri Lankan girlfriend in his apartment on the tenth floor in Fahaheel area and surrendered himself to the Fahaheel police station after committing the crime. He confessed strangling his girlfriend  and justified his killing due to major disputes between them.

During interrogation he stated that he tried to commit suicide more than once after strangling his girlfriend (born in 1981), but his attempts failed to end his life. The body taken to forensic department and premeditate murder felony has been registerd against the accused who is in detention. Public prosecution will take necessary legal measures.
