Sri Lankan Expat Filed A Complaint Against An Unknown Individual For Robbing Him

An unknown individual waylaid a Sri Lankan expatriate, beat him and robbed him of his mobile in Farwaniya area. According to security sources, the victim went to Farwaniya Police Station and explained that a man in casual wear walked towards him and requested for the use of his mobile phone to contact his friend. When he refused to give the suspect the mobile phone, the latter started beating him and then took the mobile phone and ran away. The victim provided securitymen with description of the suspect, using which securitymen launched investigations to find and arrest him
