Speaker Calls On Authorities To Put Women’s Issues On Discussion Table

Speaker of the National Assembly Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim on Sunday called on the legislative and executive branches to put women’s issues on the table, stressing that Kuwaiti women have proven their active and vital role in all aspects of national construction.

According to a statement by Al-Dustour news network, Al-Ghanim said “On the occasion of International Women’s Day, which falls today, I salute the Kuwaiti woman who has been proving year after year her active and vital role in all aspects of the national construction process.” He urged the executive, legislative, and all civil society institutions to put women’s issues on the discussion table.
