‘solve Minister Of Interior Problems’

The Minister of Interior, Sheikh Thamer Al-Ali, during a meeting which he chaired, has stressed on the need to propose urgent solutions to all outstanding issues in all sectors of the ministry saying it is not impossible to solve the problems facing the security house, reports Al-Seyassah daily. The minister was addressing all senior security officials in his office in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Lieutenant General Essam Al- Naham, and the assistant undersecretaries of various sectors during which he called on all to double check their preparedness and readiness to discuss the work mechanism to contain all the problems.

Sheikh Thamer Al-Ali recommended immediate completion of the opening of investigation offices at the Wafra and Sabah Al-Ahmad police stations and deal immediately with violators of the Traffic Laws, while at the same time stressing the importance of giving executive powers to the assistant undersecretaries.

He particularly stressed on the need to implement the decisions that have been issued by the Council of Ministers on the prevention of the spread of the emerging coronavirus ‘COVID-19’ in the best interest of public health. He explained the next stage requires more effort, work, vigilance and caution, and called it “a stage in dire need of diligence and distinction at all levels, patience in dealing with the public, facilitating their transactions, listening to their pending matters and trying to solve them according to the law.”

According to the statement issued the Directorate General of Public Relations and Security Media Department of the Interior Ministry, Sheikh Al-Ali opened the meeting by praising the sincere efforts exerted by all sectors of the ministry to ensure security and safety and to confront all those who are tempted to tamper with the country’s security.

Strengthen
On the other hand, Minister of Interior Sheikh Thamer Al-Ali discussed with the Kuwaiti ambassador to Sudan, Bassam Al-Qabandi, ways to strengthen work between the security establishment and the Kuwaiti embassy, in a way that would contribute to further deepening and consolidating relations.

The Minister of Interior also discussed with the head of the United Nations Human Settlements Program mission for the Arab Gulf states, Dr Amira Al-Hassan, in a separate meeting, a number of issues of common interest and a mechanism for deepening and increasing cooperation between the organization and Kuwait in a way that contributes to achieving the desired goal.

According to the statement, Dr Al-Hassan praised the pioneering role of Kuwait in supporting human rights, appreciating the constructive cooperation of the Ministry of Interior with the mission.
