Smuggling Attempt Foiled, 11 Kgs Of Drugs Seized

The narcotics department of MOI in coordination with border security seized 10 kilos of Meth (Shabu) and one kilogram of hashish during an smuggling attempt.

The administration had received an information that large quantity of drug would be smuggled through a border post, and upon receiving the information, search operations were intensified with evidence which was gathered, with close monitoring and coordination with the General Administration of Border Security a person was monitored near the electrical security system where he was caught with a bag containing narcotics.

The accused along with the drugs was referred to the prosecution, where legal measures have been taken against him.
