As Kuwait continues to ban direct entry of people from 34 countries, the skyrocketing ticket price from Dubai to Kuwait becomes another burden for Indian expatriates who selected Dubai transit to reach Kuwait.

As Kuwait civil aviation impose strict controls on the number of trips per day hit hard on the available flights from Dubai to Kuwait, the tickets are either unavailable or increased up to 500% of the regular rate.

The direct flights from Dubai to Kuwait are all fully booked for at least next two weeks and the one-way ticket from Dubai to Kuwait for the next available flight after two weeks is in the range of 650 to 800 KD!

As Kuwait ban the direct entry of people from 34 countries including India, a large number of expatriates who are stuck in these countries used Dubai as a transit point, stay there for a min of 14 days and then proceed to Kuwait. This made the Dubai Kuwait flights all sold out and the high increase in the ticket.

According to travel agents, return trips from Dubai to Kuwait through transit countries such as via Saudi Arabia, Qatar or Turkey, are only available at present, which also cost between 200 to 300 KD and the transit time ranges between 6 hours to 10 hours before reaching Kuwait.

Due to the massive increase in the cost of the ticket from Dubai to Kuwait large number of Indians who reached Dubai and stayed there for 14 days are in trouble as they are unable to fly to Kuwait due to the non-availability of ticket or high cost.
