Haya Al-Wadani, director of the Central Agency for Information Technology, said the State of Kuwait made great strides towards digital transformation of transactions, with the Corona crisis playing a significant role in this transformation, as well as the cooperation of government agencies and public awareness of the importance of using application to organize work and appointments during the crisis through the government's Sahel application.

Al-Wadani told a workshop, "Proactive Data Analysis," which was organized by the agency at its headquarters that the Mata platform had already booked 5 million appointments since its launch on June 5, 2020, and 963,000 people used it to access 2,213 active services provided by 45 government agencies. The highest number of appointments booked since the platform was launched was 26,141 on February 13 this year.

According to Al Wadani, the platform was integrated into Sahel, allowing organizers to take advantage of its services to plan appointments and educate people on the documents they need to complete transactions before visiting the concerned department, thereby reducing the flow of traffic and speeding up the process.

According to Saudi specialists in data analysis who attended the workshop, the State of Kuwait demonstrates exemplary progress in developing government digital products, particularly during the Corona pandemic, by developing projects such as the electronic government service application Sahel and the Mata platform, the centralization of government appointments, and the application of digital My Identity are all crucial elements on the path to digitization. They provide leaders with a significant amount of data and information, both in quantity and quality, that will assist them in making informed decisions.

Ryan Al-Fuhaid, founder and head of data analysis at Datalexing, a company that processes and analyzes information and data, discussed the importance of analyzing and highlighting information to make quick decisions, as well as how to simplify it to improve the user's experience. He discussed how these methods can be used through unified government applications.
