Sif Announces Spc 7th Edition
Science International Forum (SIF) Kuwait announced the commencement of registration for the 7th edition of the Sastra Prathibha Contest (VVM Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan). Sastra Prathibha Contest (VVM Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan) is a pan India and GCC Science Talent Hunt initiative by VIBHA in association with NCERT, HRD Ministry (Government of India) and the Department of Science and Technology (Government of India). SPC (2020 -2021) will be a SINGLE level contest to select ONE Sastra Pratibha each from grade IV to X. This will be a home-based online MCQ examination.
The contest will be conducted through a “web-based app”supported by Safe browser. Indian students of grade IV to X studying in Kuwait are eligible for the contest. Participating students are categorized as Sub-Junior (Class 4 & 5), Junior (Class 6, 7, & 8), and Senior (Class 9 & 10). Registration can be done online at www.sifkuwait.com.
Question Bank following the prescribed syllabus will be available for DOWNLOAD from www.sifkuwait.com. SPC 2020 -21 is a one-hour objective type test, where the questions are asked from the prescribed syllabus, current academic curriculum, analytical & logical type and general knowledge. SPC online contest will be conducted on Saturday, February 19th, 2021 at 10AM (KST).
The 6 Sastra Pratibha Title winners will get the opportunity for personal interaction with top scientists in India at Annual Science Gala. Also a scholarship worth INR.10,001/- is also announced. Outstanding performers will be hounoured at the Annual Science Gala along with title winners. JC Bose Sastra Puraskar will be presented for the best performing school in SPC 2020-21.
The registration link will be open from 2021 January 21st to 2021 February 5th . SPC is the biggest and most prestigious contest of its kind in Kuwait, with the participation of more than 7000 students from 21 Indian schools in Kuwait.
