Shopping Malls Opened With Strict Health Measures

Control centres and emergency teams are deployed in all shopping complexes and commercial markets of Kuwait as shopping complexes opened to the public from today as the second stage of return back to normalcy begins today.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Trade and Industry for Trade Control and Consumer Protection Affairs, Eid Al-Rashidi, conducted a field tour at shopping malls today morning. A large number of people flocked to the shopping malls across the country.

Various shopping malls, including Avenues, Al-Kout Mall, 360 Malls received visitors and shoppers amid strict preventive measures. Thermal cameras were installed at the entrance to count the number of shoppers so that their percentage does not exceed 30 %. Restaurants and cafes inside the malls are closed for dine-in. Only pick up is allowed.
