Several Lawmakers Discussed On Those Imprisoned For Storming The Legislative Building
Several lawmakers met Tuesday in the office of MP Mohammed Al-Mutair to continue their discussion on those imprisoned for storming the legislative building. Present at the meeting were MPs Mohammed Hayef, Thamer Al-Suwait, Omar Tabtabaei, Al-Humaidi Al-Subaie, Abdul Wahab Al-Babtain, Osama Al-Shaheen, Adel Al-Damkhi, Abdullah Fahad, Khalid Al-Otaibi, Nayef Al-Mirdas, Abdul Karim al- Kandari and Mohammed Al-Dalal.
Al-Damkhi explained the meeting is the continuation of their expression of solidarity with the legislative building storming convicts. He disclosed the legal team handling the case presented updates during the meeting. He added they decided to send a message to the Assembly Speaker on the need for the legislature to announce its stand on the case, indicating another meeting will be held on Monday at the office of MP Jamaan Al-Harbash to tackle pending issues and formation of the new government.
;Moreover, Information Minister Mohammed Al-Jabri said he will spare no effort in serving the country, its leadership and people. He pointed out that it is always beneficial to begin with improving local media, taking into consideration the rapid technological development in this sector. He also unveiled his plan to present a vision on local media development to compete with its counterparts in the regional and international arenas.
Minister of Social Affairs and Labor and State Minister for Economic Affairs Hind Al-Sabeeh thanked His Highness the Amir, His Highness the Crown Prince and His Highness the Prime Minister for her reappointment. She said she will continue aiming for development to better serve the public, citing her keenness to complete automation projects to ensure easy and speedy processing of transactions.
