Seven Kuwaiti Citizens Were Arrested In Possession Of Drugs

Seven Kuwaiti citizens were arrested in possession of drugs, drug  and other illegal items. According to security sources, security authorities have been intensifying campaigns against drug peddlers and violators of law based on instructions from the Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs at Ministry of Interior Major General Ibrahim Al-Tarrah. Within 24 hours, securitymen had arrested these seven citizens in possession of drugs from various governorates.

The first arrest was made at Saad Al- Abdullah City when Jahra securitymen, who were patrolling the area, noticed a man driving recklessly and ordered him to pull over. When they asked him for his identification document, they noticed his disoriented state as well as that of his companion.

Securitymen checked them and found a sachet of hashish and other drugs on them. Both citizens were arrested and the drugs were confiscated.
