Security Crackdown

Officers from Public Security sector carried out security campaigns in various locations within the country during which they arrested a Filipina woman in possession of 67 bottles of locally manufactured liquor, 70 individuals who are wanted by law, 46 individuals suspected to be involved in different cases, 15 individuals reported as absconding and 25 individuals who did not have their identification documents.

According to a press statement issued by Ministry of Interior, the officers also seized seven vehicles. In addition they arrested 13 individuals with expired residencies, 11 individuals accused of theft and gambling and 11 others for different issues such as vandalism, driving cars without driving licenses and theft. The arrested individuals were referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against them.
