Security Authorities Taking Necessary Steps In Preparation Of New Year Celebrations

Security sources revealed that security authorities have been working on taking necessary steps in preparation of the New Year celebrations in order to ensure complete control of roads, streets and borders, and prevent any immoral activities or religious actions.

They explained that Ministry of Interior, due to the current exceptional circumstances within the region, has taken all necessary security and traffic related procedures. Strict directives have been issued to all border employees to toughen the search processes and increase the level of cautiousness.

The sources warned people from carrying out any actions that can annoy the celebrating families or expose the lives of road users to danger. They affirmed that use of fireworks and spraying of colors or foams are prohibited during the celebrations. The sources stressed that the senior leaders are following up the situation closely along with all of the control rooms.
