School Student Killed After Being Run Over Near His School In Kuwait

According to local media, a 15-year-old kid was murdered in Kuwait after being driven over by a fast car near his school.

While crossing a road going to his school, the Egyptian youngster was allegedly driven over by a Kuwaiti woman motorist. The man was rushed to a hospital in Salmiya city, but medics were unable to save his life. The driver was detained until the outcome of the inquiry.

According to local publications, 65 people died in traffic accidents in Kuwait in the first three months of 2022. According to Al Qabas, who cited government numbers, 24 individuals died in January, 23 in February, and 18 last month. According to the study, the majority of the victims were young persons.

The collisions were caused by speeding, chatting on cell phones while driving, and going through red lights.

According to traffic officials, over 675 individuals perished in road accidents in Kuwait during the last two years, a country with a population of around 4.6 million. In 2021, 323 people were arrested, compared to 352 the previous year.
