Saudis And Yemeni Executed For Spying And Terror Funding

Saudi Press Agency (SPA) cited a statement by the Interior Ministry as saying two Saudis and a Yemeni were executed after being found guilty on terrorism charges.

Al Muallami, a Yemeni national, was convicted of joining the Iran-backed Houthi militia and illegally entering the Kingdom in order to carry out a terrorist operation.

A position had been targeted in Saudi Arabia as a result of Al Muallami's spying for the Houthis and passing military coordinates to the group, the ministry said.

Saudi national Mohammed Bin Khidir Bin Hashim Al Awami was convicted of joining a terrorist gang, disrupting security, causing chaos, attacking security forces, and damaging public property, the Interior Ministry reported.

In addition to dangerous weapons and explosives, Al Awami also have in his possession RPGs, Molotov cocktails, and explosive devices in his home.

In addition to shooting dead a member of the security forces, Hussein Bin Ali Al Bu Abdullah, a Saudi national, received weapons and ammunition to fund terrorist operations and disrupt security in the Kingdom.

According to the ministry, all three men were sentenced to death by the Criminal Court, and their death sentences were upheld by the Appeal Court and Supreme Court.
