Saudi Recognizes Equivalency Of Indian Covishield To Astrazeneca

The Kingdon of Saudi Arabia has recognized the equivalence of the Covishield vaccine in India to the AstraZeneca vaccine which is approved by Saudi authorities, the Indian embassy in Saudi Arabia announced in a Tweet.

Whereas Kuwait only recognizes Pfizer, AstraZeneca / Oxford,  Moderna, and Johnson vaccine against coronavirus. Meanwhile, there have been discussions of allowing vaccinated expatriates with valid residency to enter Kuwait, but the equivalency of Covishield to Astrazeneca has not been finalised yet.
