Saudi Investors In Kuwait To Explore Opportunities

29 November 2018 Business

A Saudi trade delegation is currently visiting the country to discuss prospected joint enterprises by businessmen from the two neighboring countries.

The Saudi delegation visit aims at discussing opportunities for investment and commercial cooperation by businesspersons from the two brotherly countries, said Imad Al-Zaid, the assistant director general at the Kuwaiti Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in a statement as he hosted the Saudi guests today. He affirmed keenness on examining the Saudi experience in backing up small and medium enterprises.

Meanwhile, Faisal Al-Sultan, manager of a Saudi investment program, “Tomouh,” said the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority of Saudi Arabia (Monsha’at) encourages small businesses. The program links up leading Saudi business persons with counterparts abroad. The Kuwaiti market, he says, is a prime objective, noting the aspiration to make “partnerships with Kuwaiti business persons and exchange expertise.”
