The women’s team in the Health Conditions Committee at the Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) has intensified inspection campaigns in salons, health institutes and tailoring shops for women in Reggae, Dasman, Sabah Al-Salem, Jahra, Shaab, Jabriya and other areas; in addition to following up wedding parties and various events in halls and hotels, reports Al-Qabas daily. The daily’s team accompanied representative of PAM Engr Fatima Abdul Malik during the inspection tour in Jahra Governorate; during which the latter ensured strict compliance with health regulations, particularly in establishments providing services for women.

Since August last year, the team has visited more than 35,000 commercial establishments like tailoring shops, salons, sports institutes and hotels and recorded 5,000 violations. The team carried out administrative closure of five facilities on the spot due to violations like crowding and non-compliance with the appointment system, Abdul Malik revealed.
