Salmiya's Makeshift Stalls Are Demolished

According to the Hawalli Municipality’s Licensing Department, all temporary stalls (makeshift booths) in the middle of the Salmiya shopping center have been removed since they allegedly violated the terms and conditions of their license, disrupted public views, and sold cheap counterfeit goods.

According to a local Arabic newspaper, the activities were not supervised or monitored by the Ministry of Commerce.
