Salmiya Undergoes Intensive Security Checks

To conduct intensive security checks, the security authorities cordoned off the area around Qatar Street in Salmiya.

The campaign was supervised by the Assistant Director-General at MoI Major General Sheikh Fawaz Al-Khaled, and the Assistant Director-General Brigadier General Khaled Mahmoud, in presence of the head of the joint committee team.

During the campaign, the team arrested an Indian with about 35 bottles of local alcohol. The team also recorded dozens of traffic violations and arrested number of residence violators.
