‘salaries Of Bedouns In Awqaf Ministry Not Paid In Full

Bedouns working in the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs under the assignment clause have been idle for three months due to the Finance Ministry’s refusal to pay their salaries in full and its insistence to amend the assignment regulations, reports Al-Rai daily quoting a knowledgeable source from the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs. According to the source, around KD150 to KD200 were deducted from the salaries of these Bedouns in November due to the financial controller’s refusal to pay their salaries in full; although the ministry addressed the issue as per the comments of the concerned authorities.
